What’s with the tree? Buxbaum translates in german as “box tree”, bux = box and baum = tree. The snake climbing the trunk is symbolic of The Staff of Aesculapius, for the Greek God of Medicine. So, the tree logo, while not the true evergreen species, is a tree reflective of my surname blended with the imagery of the staff and snake commonly representative of medicine.
