Logo Meaning

What’s with the tree? Buxbaum translates in German as “box tree”, bux = box, and baum = tree. The snake climbing the trunk is symbolizes The Staff of Aesculapius, for the Greek God of Medicine. So, the tree logo, while not the true evergreen species, is a tree reflective of my surname blended with the staff and snake commonly representative of medicine.

A close friend brought my concept to life in the designed logo.
