Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only treat Anxiety and OCD?

While treating anxiety and OCD is my passion and practice focus, they are both examples of complex health conditions that require a comprehensive and holistic approach. My practice historically has been working with genetic testing and complex illness. If you found me by referral or from my work with other conditions, I would be happy to discuss your case and see if we are a good fit. Send me a note to set up a time.

Do you use medications?
As a licensed Physician, I can prescribe and manage medications for my Arizona patients. They can be useful and effective tools, but they are also not the only or best option for every case and circumstance. Medications will not be imposed or withheld from your care, rather we will develop a plan that works best for your situation and goals.
Do you take insurance?

Insurance is very limited in paying for “out of the box” care and usually does not provide enough time for comprehensive treatment. I am not contracted with any insurance carriers, however I can provide Arizona patients with a superbill to submit for reimbursement. While out-of-pocket care is an investment, it enables me to offer alternatives beyond mainstream options that may have already let you down.

How much does this cost?

The cost of your care depends on your individual case and goals. I am committed to being transparent about all costs. The Waypoint Planning appointment, priced at $145, serves as an ideal starting point. During this session, we’ll discuss the most appropriate next steps for your journey.

Where are you located?

I am a licensed physician in Arizona. My practice operates entirely via telehealth, offering several benefits. While I do not serve as a primary care provider and will refer you to in-person care when necessary, telehealth allows you to avoid travel, meet from the comfort of your home or while on the move, and receive more dedicated time and energy for your investment. I’ve found telehealth to be an excellent fit for this type of care.

Do you work with people outside of Arizona?

Yes, I do! However, there are certain limitations. Medical licensure is state-specific, and I can fully utilize my scope of practice only for patients located in Arizona during our appointment. If you’re outside Arizona, we can develop your Roadmap and strategize on how you can continue your journey locally. While I do not manage care, order lab tests, or prescribe medications for clients outside Arizona, we can still create a comprehensive plan for you.

Is this another program or membership?

Not at all! While valuable information can come from various sources, I believe in working with a provider who has medical training and can utilize all available tools for your care. I may offer monthly payment options for long-term care, but there is no membership or guru program being promoted. Just high-quality, comprehensive medical care.

How do I pay?

You can pay with any card, including HSA/FSA. A deposit may be required for scheduling, and balance is due at the time of service.

What is a Waypoint and Roadmap?

Your health and discovering life beyond anxiety and OCD is a journey. To navigate successfully, you need a clear direction and a plan. The Roadmap outlines your overall plan with your goals in mind, while Waypoints are the steps along the way. A Waypoint might be genetic testing to personalize treatment, addressing mold toxicity, or resolving an intestinal infection. The Roadmap guides the path; the Waypoints mark key milestones and priorities.
