Frequently Asked Questions

What all do you treat?

I have created quite a diverse practice and experience set, but do not claim to be an expert at everything. I am the first to tell you if I am not the right match, so I encourage you to take my offer of a complimentary Discovery Consult.

    • Genetic testing and applying it to complex cases is an incredibly valuable asset to patient care that I am proud to have embraced and specialized in.
    • I am the 'canary in the coal mine' and understand patients that react wildly or unexpectedly to treatments. This is especially true with biochemical pathways like MTHFR or COMT.
    • Anxiety and OCD is a passion and practice focus on account of my personal experience.
    • Complex Illness and cases that have a lot of information or records and need someone to really dive in and 'nerd out'.
    • Mold exposure and illness is an arena that combines my experience with building construction and focus on detail.
    • Mast cell and immune conditions (autoimmune too) seem to come naturally to me, and I have had good success with.
    • Gut health is always a core component of health and is embraced in my plans.
How does telehealth keep fees lower?

I have positioned myself with a telehealth practice to reduce my overhead and pass those savings along to you. A physician with a big marketing plan and similar experience can easily charge double or triple. My practice style gives you my brain and specialty without the price of the waiting room and staff.

Do you prescribe medications?

As a licensed Physician, I can prescribe and manage medications for my Arizona patients. They can be useful and effective tools, but they are also not the only or best option for every case and circumstance. Medications will not be imposed or withheld from your care, rather we will develop a plan that works best for your situation and goals.

Do you take insurance?

Insurance is very limited in paying for 'out of the box' care and usually does not provide enough time for comprehensive treatment. I am not contracted with any insurance carriers, however I can provide Arizona patients with a superbill to submit for reimbursement. While out-of-pocket care is an investment, it enables me to offer alternatives beyond mainstream options that may have already let you down.

How much does this cost?

The total cost of your care depends on your individual case and goals. I am committed to being transparent about all costs during your Discovery Consult after I have had a chance to understand your needs. It does not bother me at all for you to take advantage of that consult regardless of scheduling follow thru.

    How do I pay?

You can pay with any card (including HSA/FSA), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Afterpay financing by Square.

    Where are you located?

I am a licensed physician in Arizona. My practice operates entirely via telehealth, offering several benefits. While I do not serve as a primary care provider and will refer you to in-person care when necessary, telehealth allows you to avoid travel, meet from the comfort of your home or while on the move, and receive more dedicated time and energy for your investment. I've found telehealth to be an excellent fit for this type of care.

Do you work with people outside of Arizona?

Yes, however there are certain limitations. Medical licensure is state-specific, and I can fully utilize my scope of practice only for patients located in Arizona during their appointment. If you are outside Arizona, we can strategize on how you can continue your care locally. I do not manage care, order lab tests, or prescribe medications for clients outside Arizona.
